Natasha is a girl who believes in facts and knows them very well. A fact she currently knows all too well right now is that tonight her family is going to have to leave America. Natasha knows that this is not her fault, it was her father’s but she has to deal with the consequences and move from New York to Jamaica. All on her mind is fixing the problem that was not hers in the first place.

Daniel has a poetic view on everything and believes in fate and heartbreak. Today is a big day for Daniel. He has to choose to either become a doctor and follow what his parents are telling him, or go on his own path and possibly become a poet. Daniel is very conflicted by this and this interview that he has today will surely determine the rest of his life… if he shows up.

Natasha and Daniel have very critical things on their mind right now and are trying not to get distracted, but is it coincidence or fate that they end up finding each other, and on such an important day?

This book is yet another great one by Nicola Yoon. I really enjoyed reading this book and couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed the majority of the storyline and the way it was elaborated on, however I would have enjoyed the ending of The Sun Is Also a Star, if there were more details and expanded on the event that was occurring. I understand that the abrupt stop was intended to be dramatic, however I wish the book was longer or had a sequel. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and left me wanting to read more books like this.
